We at Countryside provide a place for children to feel welcome, valued, and cared for while learning all about who Jesus is and how to follow Him. Our children’s ministry is run by volunteers who love kids and desire to have them grow in Christ. All of these volunteers are selected using a screening process to ensure the safety of all children in Promise Land. Our ultimate purpose is to see children KNOW Jesus as their Savior, GROW as members of God’s family, and to GO in service to God.
Doors to Promise Land open 10 minutes prior to the start of each service. After entering Promise Land you will be greeted by a friendly volunteer who will help walk you through the check-in process that helps us keep track of your child. During the check-in process you will receive a printed badge that has your Family ID number on it. Please note for security reasons you will need to provide this badge at the end of service in order to check your child out of their small group. After the simple check-in process is complete, a volunteer will walk you and your child through Promise Land to their small group classroom. This is also where you will pick your child up after the service. There you will be greeted by your child’s small group leader. Your child will remain under the leader’s supervision throughout the service.
If you want to stay and observe what your child’s service will look like please feel free to do so. We encourage your involvement with your child. We understand you desire the best for your child. All we ask is that you express your desire to stay to a volunteer at the check-in counter. They will get you signed in on the guest list so we can keep track of everyone in Promise Land to ensure your child’s safety.
