BLOG-YOUR-DAY is an opportunity for a you to take Pastor Mark's challenge to do a "1 day experiment" and focus on encouraging/enjoying/inviting God's presence in your life throughout each step of your day. Yah, just that. No giant changes, no grandiose goals, just inviting God to walk with you throughout your everyday life. You know... the day-in-and-day -out stuff you do... at breakfast, at work, classes, out with buddies; asking Him to be a part and to talk to you/lead you. And we'd love to hear from you as you do. Fantastic!!!! My wife of 2 years and I are looking forward to buying a house. What a busy week it was. My plan was to blog on Monday of last week (7/14), but because of the process to go through such a ginormous task, I ended up putting the blog off. I know right, what an example. But the Lord did have a plan for me in this week. |

Today is my very first blog. Sounds fun so away we go. My mind and heart have been focused on termites. Yes termites. We found them in our home while doing remodeling due to the great flood of 08 in Spearfish. Yes termites in Spearfish! Perhaps the one and only house but we were blessed to have them. |

I read a prayer by Saint Patrick and it is said that he prayed this every morning upon awakening. It goes along with what Pastor Mark preached on. Not that I always remember, but it is a great tool for me to invite God into my day. |
